What is the Campingaz Xpert 100 L?

It is a two burner gas BBQ for small gardens and patios. It has a chromed steel grill, two foldable side tables, two wheels and piezo ignition. Power is 7.1 kW and the grilling area is 1500 cm², or 45 x 34 cm.

How big is the grilling area?

The chromed steel grid measures 45 x 34 cm. That gives 1500 cm² of grilling area. It suits a small family. For larger groups, a three or four burner Campingaz model gives more space and more power.

Does it have wheels?

Yes. Two big wheels make it easier to move the BBQ around the garden. At 16 kg it is light for a gas BBQ. Lift the handle end and roll it, then lock it in place before you cook.

How do you connect the gas to the BBQ?

Fit a suitable regulator and hose to your gas bottle and then to the BBQ inlet. Check every join for leaks with soapy water. Use the type of regulator the maker lists in the manual. Never use a naked flame to test for leaks.

Can you cook a whole chicken on it?

How do you clean the grease cup?

Dripping fat and meat juice collects in a cup that you can remove. Let the BBQ cool, slide the cup out, empty it and wash it with warm soapy water. Do this after every cook so grease does not build up.
