What gas bottles does the Nomadiq BBQ use and how long do they last?

The grill connects to standard disposable butane gas bottles that are widely available at camping stores and supermarkets. A typical gas bottle provides approximately 2.5 hours of cooking time when both burners are operating. The included gas hose and pressure distributor ensure safe connection to EN498/LPG certified bottles. You can also turn off individual burners to extend cooking time when using only one side.

How does the dual temperature control system work?

Each of the two burners operates completely independently with its own temperature control dial. This means you can have one side on high heat for searing steaks whilst the other side runs on low heat for keeping food warm or cooking delicate items. Each cooking surface measures 730cm², giving you 1460cm² of total cooking space with complete flexibility over heat zones and cooking methods.

Is the grill suitable for balcony use and apartment living?

Yes, the compact 40cm x 41cm x 16cm folded size makes it perfect for balcony storage and urban living. However, always check your lease agreement and local regulations regarding gas appliances on balconies. The grill is designed for outdoor use only and should never be used indoors. Its lightweight 5.6kg weight makes it easy to move in and out of storage as needed.

How easy is it to clean after cooking?

Cleaning is straightforward thanks to the PFAS-free enamel coating that prevents food from sticking. The cooking grates lift out easily and the drip trays catch grease and debris. For deep cleaning, you can remove the gas tubes with just two screws each, giving complete access to both cooking chambers. The smooth enamel surfaces wipe clean with standard cleaning products.

What's included in the box and do I need any additional accessories?

The complete package includes the grill unit, PFAS-free cooking grates, gas hose, pressure distributor, drip trays, shoulder strap and instruction manual. The only additional item you need is a butane gas bottle, which isn't included due to shipping regulations. All necessary connections and accessories for immediate use are provided in the box.

How portable is the grill for camping and travel?

Extremely portable at just 5.6kg with a compact folded size of 40cm x 41cm x 16cm. The included shoulder strap makes carrying comfortable and the improved locking mechanism prevents accidental opening during transport.
