What gas types can I use with this camping oven?

This unit operates on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), butane, propane and LPG gas mixtures. It requires an inlet pressure of 28-30/37 or 50 mbar. You'll need a compatible gas bottle, low-pressure regulator and standard gas hose up to 1.5 metres long. The gas connector is a hose tail designed for 8mm gas hose connections.

Does the flame failure device work on both burners?

The flame failure device (FFD) is only fitted to the oven burner, not the top burners. If the oven flame extinguishes, the FFD automatically cuts the gas supply for safety. However, the top burners will continue to flow gas if the flame goes out, so you must monitor them carefully, especially in windy conditions or enclosed spaces.

How do I clean and maintain this camping oven?

The porcelain enamelled oven interior and non-stick surfaces make cleaning straightforward. Remove the chrome shelves, pan grids and baking tray for separate washing. Wipe down the interior with warm soapy water after each use. The stainless steel exterior resists corrosion but should be dried thoroughly after cleaning to maintain its appearance and prevent water spots.
