The Campingaz Party Grill 600 R is a large camping stove and grill for the campsite or festival. It is the bigger sister of the 400 model, with a 52 cm body and a 4000 W burner.
It comes with a pan support, a grilling grid and a reversible non-stick griddle. The lid has a thermometer and works as an oven. It runs on Campingaz R907 or R904 gas cylinders and lights with a piezo button.
Everything fits inside the body once the legs come off. The regulator and hose are sold separately, so check before you buy.
The body is 52 cm in diameter. On its stand it is 99 cm high. It weighs 10.7 kg. The legs detach and all parts fit inside the body for transport. It is the larger model compared with the Party Grill 400 CV.
It runs on Campingaz R907 or R904 gas cylinders. An R907 gives a run time of 9 hours 30 minutes and an R904 gives 6 hours 15 minutes. The regulator and hose are sold separately, so add them to your order.
The fully adjustable burner reaches 4000 W. Gas consumption is 290 g per hour. It boils water in 3 minutes 50 seconds. That is about twice the power of the smaller Party Grill 400 CV, so it suits bigger groups.
The large lid has a thermometer and the maker says it doubles as an oven. Close it over the food to hold heat in. You can watch the temperature on the dial and adjust the burner to keep it steady.
That depends on group size and where you camp. A large camping stove and grill like this one has a 4000 W burner and room for several pans. Smaller models save weight but have less cooking space and less power.
Propane works better in cold weather. Butane is common in small cartridges. This grill uses Campingaz R907 and R904 cylinders, so you do not choose the gas yourself. Check the cylinder label and keep it matched with the right regulator.
You get the stove body with detachable legs, a pan support, a grilling grid, a reversible non-stick griddle, a lid with thermometer and a carry bag. The regulator, hose and gas cylinder are not included.
Grease runs into a water compartment while you cook. Afterwards you lift out the pan support, grids and griddles. They are dishwasher safe. Let the body cool, then wipe it down and pack the parts inside it.
